Paoli Moveable Feast
Friday, July 13, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EDT)
On July 13, Indiana Landmarks' Paoli Moveable Feast begins with appetizers in an alley tucked off the historic courthouse square, on the lawn of a c.1920 bungalow owned by local historian Jeff Lane. Admire the adjacent Carnegie Library, built in 1918, and browse a fine selection of local goods for sale at the Lost River Market co-op, located next door to the Lane home. Enjoy dinner and an awards program in the newly refurbished auditorium of the 1927 former Paoli High School, now transformed into College Hill Apartments. End the evening with desserts in the stained glass-lit sanctuary of the former Paoli Methodist Church, a recent save in the early stages of being adapted as an arts and reception center.
Arrive early and enjoy a walking tour of the courthouse square, beginning at 4 PM in front of the courthouse.
